Strong Team

A 2nd in Charge and coaches who can run it without you.

A gym that only runs when you're there isn't a business. It's a job with extra steps and worse hours.Nick Habich

Most 2ICs have never been trained to lead. They got handed more responsibility and figured it out alone. Most coaches have never had a real check-in, never seen a path to making more money at your gym, and never been told what the standard is on a day you're not on the floor.

This is how you build something that works without you having to be the answer to every question. The goal is a gym that runs well whether you're on the floor, on vacation, or taking a Tuesday off without your phone going off.

The work

How we get you there

There's a plan, and every piece of it is the same shape: something to learn, something to go do in your gym, and something real to show for it at the end. Not a worksheet. The next piece opens when the last one is done.

Grow a Staff Member

Two courses ride inside this one: Staff Check-Ins (the regular one-on-one most gyms never run) and Build a Staff Pay Roadmap, with the sheet Nick uses for his own coaches. Run the meeting, show the coach what they can make here.

2IC Circle

Your 2nd in Charge gets their own calls with others in the same seat, every other week, led by Valerie, a real-life GM. She trains your 2IC like a peer, not a delegate. That difference is the gold.

Quarterly Debrief

Four times a year we look at the numbers and plan the next 90 days with you. What left your plate this quarter, what's still on it, and what your 2IC is taking next.

2IC School

The full course for your second: the sync, the annual spine, the friend-boss problem, running the team, holding the member standard, developing the people. It comes last on purpose, because by then your 2IC has a real job to do it with.

In your gym

What it looks like when it's working

  • Your 2IC makes decisions instead of asking you to.
  • Coaches hold the line whether you're there or not, because the standard is written down and the check-in is where it gets said out loud.
  • A coach who was about to leave for a "real job" can see what they'll make at your gym in two years.
  • You take a week off and come back to a gym that ran, not a list.

Questions about strong team

I don't have a 2nd in Charge yet. Can I still join?

Yes. An emerging one counts: the coach who already gets asked the questions when you're out. Part of the Strong Team work is turning that person into a real second leader. And not every gym needs one. Some owners never make a 2nd in Charge, and that's okay. We'll still grow your team.

Does my team get trained too?

Yes. Your 2nd in Charge gets their own room: 2IC School, led by Valerie, every other week. Your coaches learn the same sales process you do. Pathfinder is built to make the gym depend on you less, which only works if the people around you grow.

How much time does it take each week?

One Roundtable call a week, Roleplay Lab every other week, and the mission you're on, which is work you'd be doing in your gym anyway, done with a plan. Your 2IC adds a 2IC School call every other week.

What happens on the free call?

Thirty minutes on Zoom with Nick. An honest look at your gym, your numbers and what's actually holding it back. If it's not a fit, he'll tell you, and you'll still leave with something to do.

The other two pillars: More Leads and More Signups. How the whole thing fits together.

Three gyms per month

Want a strong team? It starts with a call.

If you're a gym owner who wants a straight conversation about where the business is and what's actually holding it back, book a call. An honest look at your gym, your numbers, and whether this is the right fit. Nick talks to every prospective member himself. If it's not a fit he'll tell you.

Pathfinder takes on three new gyms a month. That's the cap, and it's the reason Nick can sit down with every owner himself before they join.
